30 Amman street cats, headed for foster homes in the US
Lloyd Broughton pulled every one of these cats off the streets of Amman sick or injured and nursed them back to health. Now they need foster-based rescues near Washington Dulles, New York JFK and Chicago O'Hare, and help paying for the flights.

Which 10 cats still need a rescue?
Most of these cats are shy, or have quirks that make them a poor fit for a first-time adopter. Once they trust someone they settle in, but they need a foster who knows cats and an adopter willing to be patient.
Profiles for these 10 cats are being added this week. Each profile will have photos, vet records, a short video and an honest personality write-up.
Rescues who want details now can email helplloydscats@gmail.com or message Lloyd on WhatsApp.
Why only foster-based rescues?
These cats do badly in shelters and store adoption cages. A foster home gives a shy cat room to show who it really is. And if an adoption ever falls through, the rescue takes the cat back. A cat adopted straight from Amman would have no one to fall back on, 7,000 miles from the person who saved it.
How can you help?
- Run or volunteer with a foster-based rescue near DC, New York or Chicago? Tell Lloyd how many cats you could take.
- Want to chip in? Every dollar on the GoFundMe goes toward flying the cats to the US.
- Know someone who should see this? Share a cat's profile with them.
